New To Battle River?
The Province of Alberta deregulated the energy which means Battle River will remain your wire service provider but you do have a choice in who supplies you with your energy. Battle River REA members have three options:
You have been automatically signed up for the Regulated Rate Option (RRO) for energy, however, your rate will fluctuate monthly with the market prices.
You can choose to sign up for Battle River’s Energy Contract.
You can check out your options with the retail market; for further information, visit http://ucahelps.alberta.ca/ .
If you would like to sign up with Battle River Energy - Request Energy Contract-, please be advised the transition can take up to 30 days.
To sign up for either option, please have your land location available.
Members & customers are free to select a retailer of their choice; for further information and for a list of licensed Alberta retailers, visit ucahelps.alberta.ca or you can call toll free in Alberta 310-4822. Electricity delivery isn’t affected by your choice of retailer; Battle River Wires Division will continue to be your wire service provider.
